Growing Up My Soul.
my soul is here now it loves me i love it it has been so broken before; it has tried to be a "good" soul but it aways breaks because of me. it tried to help me to help or fix other souls. " too much!" it said and, finally just ran away from me. i said "soul" come back to me! i will just please us, just for a day or two without guilt, my smile was obviously convincing. soul skipped back and said "i have been waiting all my life for you to say this!" so my soul said to say "NO" to things that did not suit me.. what a ruckus that made. everyone is angry at me, not knowing how my soul has saved me. but, me and my soul hold hands. i say..."soul, i like how you think" my soul reaches up and pats my cheek and says, "i am so proud of you" we sigh, as we look at the stunning sunset. by janetta
