Personal Hell
Her deadening cries, Echoing through the night, She is seen only by his empty eyes, Yet never does she know that he is blind to her plight. Questions burning, Behind her lips sealed shut, Answers churning, In his forever closed mind. The feelings she will try to deny, Yet the pain of wondering, If the time will ever come when he will say goodbye, Will remain forevermore. She sits there alone, Wrapped up in his arms, Letting out a silent moan, As she gives in to her feelings once again. Forbidden feelings fill, Her every breath with remorse, The regret will chill her, She has created her own Personal Hell. Damned to spend forever, Loving the one she cannot have, One she cannot touch ever, For he shall disappear. Always she lies, To herself, Blind to the truth told in his eyes, Of the love he feels for her. Forever damning herself, To her own Personal Hell, While he is to proud to tell her himself, Those three little words that would release her from, Her Own Personal Hell.
