From a Long Time Ago
Have you taken a good long look in lately at yourself in the mirror Do you see your life, as it is now, any kind of clearer Are you still wishing she could, to you, be nearer Break down and call What makes you think she don't still love you through it all Love is up one minute, but sometimes in the next it has been known to fall How will you know for certain how she feels if you don't even try Or do you want to be left her forever more trying to answer why Regets hit hard and they will run so extremely deep, life passes you by in the blink of an eye Will you let go off your fears and embrace her, the one you know you have always loved And you know all to well she is the one you are constantly thinking of Just maybe she see you as someone sent to her from the heavens' above Look closely, there is a crack in the mirror but don't you dare close your eyes Even if it's easier to turn away than to take that look inside With life and the truth you need, it's never to late to try Be true to her, but most of all be true to yourself don't let her again pass on by You could make each other happy where each of your lives have gone awry Stop thinking about just how many tears she may have cried She's stronger now than you know Open your heart again and let that love for her once again flow And that much, to yourselves, you each owe Just let go Just let it show It's been meant to be now as it started from a long time ago
