I wonder why my life had dark highways Why wasn't I beautiful like so and so, Or why was I trapped in “ stupid’s.” maze. If I'm stuck in this mind frame, I can't grow, So I change it fast because I am unique, Even when I'm sad and feeling very low. You, my friend, are what you think and speak, Find your gift and talent and excel in that, We're unique with a certain build and physique. Sometimes you have to fight on a boxing mat, Not a literal one, be your own cheerleader, You may have to give yourself a loving pat, On your own back, stand tall like a strong cedar. It sounds lonely; that’s not what I want to convey, Don't let others define you, get a soul weeder. And weed out negatively and have your say, Hang around like-minded people, embrace love, Let it infuse you; it's more powerful than hate.
