He Gave Her a Book
Dawn was grey, He was sitting in a dark aisle, Steel was cold, His  nerves were giving away their hold. And then he heard, A cry of delight, He saw sunshine. She was bright , Brighter than daylight, Wrapped in pink and white. She held his hand, Moulding  her fingers around, And he promised, "I will never let you be down in the mouth", Time blazed, Winds fluttered by, Now she was eleven, Sitting on swings high. She have got little friends And he thinks they are all errands, They always make her cry. So she came to him, Blowing her nose, "Why this world so unfair, Why everyone's so cold". "Hey young lady , This is what world is , Filled with happiness and miseries, Still pristine as it is". She cried and cried, Ran around, Huddled in a corner, Till he reached out. And then he slipped, A book , Half ripped, "People" its pronounced. "It will guide you through the world Show its  colors Rainbows With black and whites". He shined. It traveled through the world with me, Crossed many huddled maze, I carry it with me, In my memories haze.
