Too long a sacrifice, fills and makes the heart heavier with stones, to heavy to lift up and feel another. This day feel the love from many, and have no doubt you deserve it. Are you younger in heart when you're laughing or when you are weeping? My only gift to you this day, and since the beginning, was to share imagination, thru prose. To generate thoughts, and try to remove a stone from your heart. Only requirements, a destination, and a connection, that enables acknowledgement, much like the new growth of spring does water and sun, new growth from the ashes of the past winter. Can't your heart shed its stones, accumulated from the sacrifices you've made, remaining from the past hurts of those closest, ashes of your past winter, to enable feeling another.
