Invited To Dinner
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A scary black bat came knocking at my door, I once was scared, but I scream no more. A grave is in danger If I dine with him tonight, He will bring our dinner with the moonlight. A shovel for digging, a rose with a thorn, A prick of my neck with blood it's adorned. Musty smells of dead earth beneath my feet, The moon lights the trail so that I can see. No one understands just how I can adore, A man whose been dead for five hundred years or more. I carry his legacy deep inside of me, Every bite with him it refreshes me. The love you think l have for him, Is nothing more than a casual whim. My thirst stirs up the strongest desires, For a lovely dinner with a vampire. Not just anyone will do, only one counts, Dracula is his name, I've got to go, he's here now.
