Unknowingly
Unknowingly She laughs when she wants to cry When she cry's the tears shed without try.. Her pain she felt flows like the sea, She is the girl in the mirror looking back at me. I told her it's going to be okay, Sure yesterday was bad let's just embrace today! She looks at me with those piercing eyes, Asks me the one question I truly dispise..... How? Now!! I yell at the girl in the mirror for years, I am staring at this girl in tears.. Begging and pleading please stop crying, In this life time she's seen so many dying.. Hope seemed lost as she remained tamed, Until I finally unknowingly remembered her name.. She is me and I am looking at my own reflection, Broken glass now switch this direction... Pushed aside and left behind the person that I was to be, Unknowingly I now remember ... Yes I remember me!!
