Eight Ball
Morning breeze of air filled the room Everyone else are sleeping, snoring in their dreams Neighbors are outside, picking flowers that blooms Birds singing merrily as they fly by the streams First player said “here, let’s play” Another one responded and said it’s okay Another one responded and says sure why not “Hitting the ball hard, I like it a lot Round, colorful faces awoke As 1st player hit his first stroke OUCH!!! I said, the first game has begun It hurts so much that I swallowed the pain While in the stage of recovering, the 2nd hit came BANG!!! CRASH!!! It hurt even more Found myself trapped in the corner of the board I was lost, not knowing what basket hole to go Yet, I believe in myself; The 3rd hit came and I was rolling; Confused, carrying mixed feelings but when I saw the basket It’s never too late, I closed my eyes and had faith I prayed that someday the challenger will finish the game
