Dark Vs Light a Nursery Rhyme
A sadness was engulfing eating away at her Things have changed pleas now all unheard The faith others had held is slowly dwindling Her pull on the collective, another is swindling The darkness wants to evict her once more The few she had allowed now ask what for Had she lost her touch to ever again mislead Would she pay a cost for her evil misdeed Her blackness now jealousy turned green No longer in darkness did she hold title of queen The hatred within her festered a deep angry red The very sanity she once had now had laid dead Could she ever come back from this abyss Would her lil monsters never again miss Told once when it came to this bitter fight Darkness would lose out to the brighter light Once cackled at this fleeting thought All her plans began to unravel for naught So long she had plotted lights very doom Played others a bit too close and a bit too soon All left for her was the damsel in distress Was it too late to deploy, she couldn’t confess Darkness fault light held not an ounce of blame She wanted that the light to be put to some shame She cried Wolf again, alas none would notice She’d have to portray herself as evil poetess Was clear her mindstate wasn’t framed right Left her with only to at last slink into the night
