Coronaitis
“ Corona-itis” “We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish the Constitution for the United States of America”. We will get through this, the bell of freedom will ring once more, We hide behind masks and gloves; eyes averted, Social distancing, harboring and manifesting fear, of the insidious enemy. We will get through this, the bell of freedom will ring once more, Signs: “Closed until Further Notice” will be torn down, replaced with “Open for Business”. Restaurants will welcome diners once again and there will be singing in concert halls, drama on the stage, Sports arenas will be filled with cheering crowds. We will get through this, the bell of freedom will ring once more, vacant parks and school yards will be bustling with joggers, dog walkers and active, high spirited children. We will get through this, the bell of freedom will ring once more, It has been said: “Freedom isn’t free”, a poignant reminder in the wake of The Corona Virus.
