The Facade
The Facade: Andrew James Ott You’ve somehow broken through the facade and seen the real me. The person that you see right now ain’t who I wanna be. I put on a fake face a laugh and a smile I’m always that guy that’ll go the extra mile. The man you see hides pain inside and refuses to let go. I don’t know why I can’t do that I just don’t freaking know! Something deep inside me tells me to hang on to my pain. I’m betrayed by my tears that fall down like the pouring of rain. I hate being stuck in this mind, I feel so trapped. When I cussed out my mom I finally had snapped. I don’t like the man I’ve grown up to become, each time I see my parents I see the worlds worst son. I have so much self hate and anger inside. I wish I could just drift away like an ocean tide. No one would know where I have gone. I’d just go missing before the rising of dawn. Maybe then I wouldn’t be a disappointment maybe then I’d find peace. Maybe find another chance for my life to get a lease. I wish my soul could fade away in the black. Maybe then I could choose to never come back...
