A Day In the Life
A Day In The Life By Miracle Man 2/11/2021 As each year gets worse than the one before, I’m ready to show this pandemic the door. Without warning or invite it’s in your house, not the way of living that I would espouse. I see myself as a prisoner, and a virus the guard, seems the only safe place is alone in the yard. I arise early mornings and turn on the news, and my head becomes filled with negative views. Soon the phone starts ringing at a very early clock, any unfamiliar numbers my blocker will block. We venture outside for Dr.’s, Med’s, mail, and grub, no visiting or hugging is like giving friends the snub. The media peddles dissention and will for a song, and repeats each day till something worse comes along. But politicians are the ones I respect the least, Is lying in their genes or just the nature of the beast. A friend told me to “cheer up Tom, it could be worse, I cheered up and sure enough, it’s gotten worse.” But I’m blessed far beyond what I’m deserving of.
