The sun rises above the horizon; the eagle hops on the land, Disfigured are the sons and daughters of Mother Ghana, What a calamity that on this land befalls! Many homes lost, many properties displaced, Many lives lost; remaining survivors defaced, Will the stars light up the sky again? Will the eagle see beyond the clouds again?
