Is not exactly clear Burdened by the COVID virus Divided by the left and right Will the coming year have sunrise Or move us further into night? Election time is over The end results were fun Whether counted right or wrong It's over said and done Joe Biden was the winner The mail-in voting's what it took Donald Trump was voted out By legal means, or hook and crook. The hated one is almost gone He's closing out his term With a cure for the virus That's right, a vaccine for the germ His atta-boys were plentiful Stupid tweets took those away The blame is very much on him That he lost on polling day My New Year's resolution As this year comes to an end Make improvements on the past Do not break, but only bend Let us pray to God to help us Guide us with his love and care Citizens can make it happen No matter who sits in the chair
