And your pain remains as fresh as it ever was; an unbearable ache that never dulls. But you try to adapt, living the life your friends urge you to. Yet you can’t stop grieving a memory, tethered to unfathomable pain. Your heart convinces your emotional side, that the pain you're feeling will never go away. And you’re left broken, beyond repair; wounded to your core. Nothing else really matters much anymore. Grief fuels the pain burning in your heart; for those flames are eternal. And will continue to burn until the two halves of your severed soul reunite, and once again, you are made whole.
