The Frightening Future
Pockets of small militant groups are threatening While unrest swirls around us in the streets Election season … or, facing a second Civil War? Americans find the possibilities ever frightening. Social and political polarization has created Unbridgeable gaps between friends and neighbors And promoted severe rifts within families Social and fraternal groups are among the hated. The authority of the church is compromised Our educational systems are arguably failing While systemic racism throughout our culture Loses sight of ultimate diversification so prized. What happens if violence becomes the daily lead If wild and reckless militia groups roam the land Seizing control wherever they can overpower A stable, democratic leader we desperately need.
