2020 Autumn
While the earth remains, seasons will not cease. Ah, I felt her this morning when I walked out the door. Officially, she was due in September, but she's running a bit late. Considering all the problems of 2020, I can't say that I blame her. There are record-breaking hurricanes in the gulf; record-breaking fires in the west, and politicians fighting like ragging rams for territory. Autumn has wanted to return, but perhaps she's not so sure of herself. Anyway, the coolness was blunt and bold, greeting me with open arms. It appears that Summer really just might be gone, and Fall has arrived. The haze from the smoke has lessened, and it's looking and feeling like Fall. Presently, there's very little if any wind, and temperatures are way down, but the weatherman indicated that the chances for rain in the valley have faded. Considering all we've been through; we'll take the best that Autumn has to offer us now. 100820PS
