The Treasured Memory
The sweet aromatic scent of his skin lingered on her nostrils The soft touch of his hand gently caressed slowly across her The sensation tingled along her arm in the cool midnight air Their long drawn out kisses lingered and slowly smothered her lips Warm and velvety smooth yet enticing and tantalizing The dept of his eyes caressed with sweet desire As the kiss broke, she stepped back savoring each minute they spent together Their arms clung like grapes clinging to the vine Sweet desire was in their hearts She stepped back for a second Reality gave her a jolt What was she doing in this charismatic man's arms Temptation was slowly pushing her to the edge Reason and sanity stepped in She slowly said, I can't His look was first one of disbelief then slowly turning to sadness Her heart seemed to be skipping beats If only things had been different If only he wasn't committed to another If only he had been free She knew it felt like heaven but tomorrow when she woke The thought of what she's done would make her choke This kiss would be the last kiss One she would put on the shelf and store as a treasured memory.
