Death
You made sure there was nothing I could do, feeling so shaky and powerless I just stood there tears ran down my cheeks and I felt so weak at that moment I wished I was someone who didn't feel, that feeling that I can't bring back someone who is gone forever. Do you ever give us a choice, At times you give us a warning through sickness, but at times you just ambush us, sudden death Question, do we have an expiry date? If so, what is it then? I don't mean to be so rude but I'm just trying to understand. You left his body and cold began to take over, I felt so afraid and pain ran me over A second look at him and he was no more, No more talk, no more laugh, no more crazy pointless jokes At one point we were laughing and all of a sudden it was just cry He had so much hope for life, hope to do bigger things But when you came you just shattered it all in a matter of a second. © Brian Chasara
