Heartiness Without Depth of Feeling
Never before this sentiment stirred awareness, did we care enough to start an enduring flame and keep it burning through a moonless night? We stared into the shallow obscurity and fret: no brightness sign above and around did engulf hope where it couldn't be considered a bluff. To have nothing seemed something not to forfeit, four hands couldn't hold the excessive weight and tame the amorous needs seemed whole, but they were actually half although passion could have caused excitement instead of a huff. Constantly greedy and have everything for ourselves, whatever we received from others was thrown away with rage, with an appreciative gesture, " Compassion is for the indigent! " We were full of vanity and encountered battles of dissent, unsusceptible to judgement, prone to reprovement and rebuff; as helirious as it sounds, our consciences never showed a scruff. Never before guilt reproved us with gravious words, scolding us and making us aware of deserved blame for inappropriate moods that exposed the worst fault when words lacked kindness and gestures seemed a rebuff; it was heartiness without deph of feeling that became a huff.
