Cities
There are different cities in Russia, Grey, with empty eye sockets, Where the streets lead you don't know where, A crowd of people with terrible faces. There are cities that look like ghosts, They are like a skeleton of a bygone time. Paper occasionally flies through the streets, There's an old maple tree in the Park. There are cities I hate, They are draughts and broken dreams. There are people licking each other's Asses, And their hearts are irrevocably empty. There are cities where the indifferent live In faceless towers of concrete and glass. Their empty parks are covered with snow, Graves where life once was. In some cities we are lucky in others we are not, And how to find your own oasis? We have been searching for our Paradise for many years, Because we hear stories about it. And I also tried on a lot of cities, And none of them took my heart, I still haven't heard my native call, So I'm just an alien.
