Green and Darmie
Gree, the green kingfisher was easily taken advantage of by his friends. He had a heart of gold, and a caring attitude that never ends. His friend Marmie was always asking him to do one favor or another. One day they asked him to give a ride to their brother. Marmie was a mole, and pretty large, almost corpulent too. Gree did not know what to say or to do, his options were few. He did not want to anger his friend Marmie, but he was afraid. If he had a chubby mole on his back, he might dive bomb first grade. He could fall to his death over the trees he called home. He could be killed quickly, and die a horrible death all alone. But Gree was a people-pleaser, so he decided to take a risk. He let the mole get on his back. They were off like a whisk. Marmie’s brother named Darmie was hilarious and fun. They had such a good time, they made another run. They were soon flying all over these fast friends, these two. They loved being with each other, sticking together like glue.
