Morning Trek Into Sanctity of That Invisible Place
Morning Trek Into Sanctity Of That Invisible Place I have walked into that secret haven, found solitude, where in harrowing, sorrowing hours, agony gnawed this soul, nevermore was an oath I sworn in my aching discontent I a hard chained prisoner to my once vengeful attitude burnt in bonfires of torturous regret, taking hellish tolls. Morning trek into sanctity of that invisible place, came a visit with Mother Nature, its magnificent trees, flowing in with the waffling breeze, music- a repentant song a pleading call, to stand there in its beauty and again face magnitude of the loss I bought, pray while falling to my knees. I have rose up, to see wondrous and magical love in life, renewed in faithful spirit, grateful eyes now no longer blind, seeing for the first time, hope and resplendent colors of love joined world that no longer held power by its accursed strife then I felt at ease, found peace of a truly contented mind. R.J. Lindley, Feb 24th, 1978 Rhyme, ( From, A Revelation And Onward Flows Life ) Note: Edit slightly ( 6/29/2020) to achieve a uniform 15 syllable count per verse.
