Modeling Mature Thoughts
Somewhere on the darkest path A mature scream bellows a deadly wrath Give me your blessed young Evil words coming from an acid tongue We do not want these minds walking alone Google Ling on computers, tapping cell phones Everything is at a simple reach Surf the web at the Internet beach For life has a short number No more than a hundred It isn’t a mystery Just recorded history That tells the tales Of the successes and fails Having an honest image when born Giving features that are beautifully formed Before the aging witch casts a spell Calling on cosmetics and magical gels Is this a test? Giving a reason to rest? Or maybe a guilt feeling, an urge to confess Twenty to forty An innocent story Mid-life crisis comes upon Nothing any more, going on Just going to work Returning to the dinner hand and fork Now that all the children are grown Back to the confusing journey woven and sewn And there is the angry one Not wanting any fun Dig in the heels Figure out what is real Cut a deal Letting the clock Do its tock Taking stock Going around its circular block In the end when the ticker dies And the family cries There will be another place Finding peaceful eternal grace Laughing at the rat race Supposedly there to build an important case
