I can not find reason, for the blades that they sharpen, nor can I see love, for the wounds they dishearten. Amazing, that I swim through an ocean, yet I’m lonely, as if the ones who could speak blurred in motion. Perhaps, as I stand on steady ground, any other soul stays high, but once I look up, they all hide behind a sky. For that star, I fear she can’t hear, and as I look around, there is nobody near. So perhaps, with my eyes closed, I should dive. Maybe I too will grow, if they water me with lies.
