Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required Was I not worth it!?! The last angry and disgusted human face that I saw; it was him; Now, I am much older and memories of him are so very dim. When I was younger, I tried to recall; but, now, it’s not my aim; He left mom and rejected me; as though we brought him shame. I guess it is because his paternal responsibilities, he did deny; I have grown, matured; over his ‘infidel like’ acts, I won’t decry. Other took up the task of moulding and making me complete; Now that I am a father; his mistakes I most surely cannot repeat. I surely must act now; it has to be rectified from my generation; Rejection can’t be allowed to fester and destroy our family relation. The spite was great; rejection open; and the emotional hurts deep; Yet, I won’t hold it against him; “Whatever a man sows; he also reaps.” Our lineage must be healed; rejection must be removed from my ancestry; Life, liberty, love and unity must be the hallmark of our family legacy.
