Never, ever has it been claimed to be anything else, but a fun ride- never anything other than what it is; monopoly is a word that can apply to all the contests, when we write a poem and enter it in any contest. Well, I can only speak for myself I would miss them, I look forward each morning to see if I placed; and if I did wonderful, if not no matter, I enter again, its all for fun- for the fun of poetry- for the sake of poetry. And to me it is harmless, and I want more and more, so dear "certain" poet, keep them coming is my opinion ; (and did I mention that these contest boost confidence), if you don't place, or get an honorable mention- so what ! ______________________ April 17, 2020 Poetry/Verse/I Love Those Contests Copyright Protected, ID 20-1244-550-03 All Rights Reserved, 2020, Constance La France
