Beautiful Lace
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s52faSuJiHg We are all beautiful lace, one snip of the thread and we can all unravel better crochet our hearts to each others cotton and take care of ourselves for the sake of each other... I remember mama with her crochet and plastic glasses that gleamed she always knew the answers to our many questions or so it seamed back then she worked in a factory, but at night we trimmed rolls of lace while watching television, and talking with each other, face to face Outside our front door there was fresh clean air and the grass was green it was the seventies and life was lived full of color, and a backyard scene Father worked at the Montreal Children's Hosp. doing laundry in a basement dressed in white attire he worked early morning shifts without abasement One day he brought home a box of broken dolls , one even had blue hair we had little but we had much, as we sutured every arm n' limb with flair we laughed and pretended to be doctors, oh what I wouldn't give today for one more suture dare. ... We are all beautiful lace, one snip of the tread and we might just unravel we might as well make the best of it, until we can finally hit the gravel...
