Kansas Dorothy Part 2
Come Saturday checking out Christopher reached out to Laura and made the call Laura have you got a passport and any leave left at work Yes why Well you showed me around Kansas so it's only right you let me return the favor and show you were i am from You did say you always wanted to see England didn't you ? And honestly i'd really love to see you again and spend some more time with you If i pay for you will you come please ? Ok then yes I just have to check with my Doctor first make sure it's alright Sadly her Doctor recommended her strongly not to given her current medical condition But she thought what the hell and went against his wishes So plan's we're made tickets booked And on Thursday 9th May at 6pm under a setting Kansas sunset she face-timed Chris blowing him a kiss from the departure gate ending the call i cannot wait to see you Christopher so excited arrived at Manchester Airport half an hour earlier than her flight was due Only to find it was delayed by over 2 hour's And when it arrived he still patiently waiting Overheard a passing couple leaving talking Referring to a young lady who had passed away during the flight Until the grip on his sweaty palms opened and stopped clutching the welcoming bouquet of flowers he was holding Because he knew right there and then Before he went to the enquiries desk and asked the question he already knew the answer to That he wouldn't be seeing Laura again She never left Kansas Unfortunately real life is not like a movie And seldom comes with a happy ending
