A Test of Our Humanity
This is it, The moment has come, That will decide, How many human qualities we have left, When we come out the other side and are virus free. To those who say we are over-reacting, I say we are not, What we do now, How kind and compassionate we remain throughout, Will determine if society comes out of this orderly, Or disorderly. Look to how hospitals are coping, If you want a reality check, Because that is one of the main reasons, we are in lock down. Don't be misled by the supposed high survival rate, Because if the hospitals can't cope, With Doctors and Nurses bowing out, Then if you have cancer, And can't get a diagnosis in time, Then you can kiss your chances of survival goodbye. I should know, I had my diagnosis in time, And was successfully treated last year, What a difference a year can make.
