Is it for profit or spirit, I question most profoundly. For I need to find its' course so to find my solidity. You've given me a sturdy ship to sail life's rough seas. But I could use a rudder to steer with ease if you please. Or have I deceived myself by my own vane vanity. Maybe I've been too blinded to see what I need to see. You've given me a desire to search out who I must be. But desire isn't enough Lord, I need a map don't you see. A compass would be nice to point the way to my destiny. How about a guide dog as long as it isn't always biting me. You've given me this gift to share with friends and family. Yet, success escapes me to understand this gift completely. Again, no word comes from you formally or informally. Even though I strain to hear that small voice so intensely. You've given me this gift Lord totally and fully free. Yet it's course is questionable in it's clear uncertainty. I continue to travel this road of life You've set before me. And use this gift that's been given me in faith, yet so blindly.
