Good Night Mom
As she laid there dying I prayed, I prayed that her pain would go away. She was scared and afraid of what was to come, because of her past and all that she'd done. I told her that she didn't need to fear, that Jesus was with her holding her near. His Love would overcome all that she'd known, and soon it would be over and she could come home. Home to her sister and brother, father and mother. It had been so long since they where all together. The devil once controlled her with "additive behavior" but now she had Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. And now she could rest with the peace of mind, that one day we would all meet on the other side. I wished her a good night with a kiss on the head, told her I loved her and let go of her hand. She was more that a mother to me, she was my Mom.
