Time
That day I wake up with more questions Which can’t answer by anyone I was looking very confused, even I tried to hide my feelings Over information is also a problem now Where will I go and hide from these Who is telling truth and who is telling lies? I am as confused as a baby in the topless bar Now whatsapp tells me every day what do and what not And facebook shares its own version of stories I tried to relax with my spouse, but he is busy with his PUBG now Kids are calling always mamma mamma Did they forget the word dadda dadda? Where will this miserable life leads me now? Am I still talking to my pillow? Trying to keep my babies busy with some fun games And trying to finish my jobs without fail Breaks are now inside walls and seeing scenery from balcony Kids are yelling to go out and play in open Will this stage last for long? Am I looking so tired? My mirror also stopped giving me answers now. When I can meet parents and friends? When I can sit next to them and laugh out for their jokes? A lot of questions which don’t have answers now. But I know time will answer those one day. 27-Mar-2020 Contest: Quarantine Poems Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Julie Leigh Rodeheaver
