Looking Through the Glasses Reflecting About the Masses
Someone once published a title “A Tale of Two Cities” And tonight’s European football fate seemed to be artistically witty Over Anfield the stadium was a fill While Paris there was nil With Man City Citizens and their gunners getting out of the way This sporting presentation had a lot to say It was like looking into reflective glasses Challenging the accepted belief of playing to the masses When things were half done The spectacle still looked like fun With the French taking control with two Still wearing their blue While it was said On the other channel those in the color red Put one in to get out of aggregate debt Back to PSG feeling alone Playing at home With a crowd on the street Sending some heat Fireworks going off Standing tall the French stated ‘we have to get coronavirus caught’ In London Liverpool still had it level this only tempted the coronavirus devil Another half hour could give the bug more time to show its power Time ticking down Celebrating could start in the French romantic loving town Beat the Germ Men again Protecting the image Parisoner’s defend As the red masses wish Two more periods have been put on the big red list Free play for those freezing after the pounds they pay Reds drew first blood But AM responded by saying ‘you know what’ Three in the goal And Liverpool went home feeling cold They had them in their mist Not expecting AM to raise a fist This act of self-destruction Ended up as the reality instruction AM and Paris will head on to the elite eight Hoping health care will have their issue straight
