My Mother Was Never Mean
My mother left me in January but she took her time Dying a ridiculously horrible death which was a crime Bone cancer is the way I do not want to remember my mother The last eight weeks of her life were spent like no other She had a viciously wonderful sense of humor, my mother did. She was the life of the party as long as we behaved like a kid. We had responsibilities, jobs, and chores galore. Our mother gave us a bit of leeway but nothing more. When our friends came over, they stopped playing with us. She was so funny, and was a great listener to anyone with muss. Her faith was ever present; Jesus was her main hero guy. I still see her smiling in my happiness mind’s eye. She made terrific meals. Her beef and noodles were obscene. She could bake anything and everything, and she was never mean. She had a life that she made herself and friends all over town. I miss my mother greatly, wishing she was still around.
