You gave us such joy with your, “Cat In The Hat”; he just charmed everyone, including the bats. “Green Eggs And Ham”, we ate at our school, every St. Patty’s day, it was the cook’s rule! You taught us life lessons with a “Who’s” call; that "A person's a person, no matter how small." “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better, It's not." That Lorax was wise as the wisest old owl; yet he truly was, not a flying fowl! Without the Grinch, in our lives each Christmas, generosity never ever, would go the distance. You made children smile, spread caboodles and oodles; of happiness, joy and colorful doodles. So please accept this belated gift; know through your books we still sift and revel in the joys and laughter you’ve spread; as we read children to sleep in their beds.
