Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required THE OCEAN I hear the roar of the ocean waves, They call to me, it’s all the rave. The birds they all do seem to gather By themselves they never scatter. The waves are lapping at the shore The ocean seeks me ever more. I walk along the unspoiled beach I kick the sand, I’d like to teach The people who follow behind me here, To leave it as they found it near. The gulls and egrets all do gather, In their own groups with all the chatter. When on the beach at night I walk, No moon or stars I see, But the waves against the ocean Floor keeps slapping back at me. I shall not leave this blessed place, Where my God I look and see His face.
