Changing Views
Changing Views The coffee in my cup is bitter, like the bad taste in my mouth. I have been up too long, to take back the night, as the morning has come, and it is bright, beyond my dreams. I have searched for the right words, but they were hidden, among the empty lines, on the paper that has no limits, except those, I placed upon it. The pen is out of ink, the pencil is broken in half. The eraser has seen more action, then the top ten cars at the raceway. I choose to lose what I have not gained. In the very submission of my sadness, I have grown inside to see a new window into my own soul. The bright light of the sun, renews my efforts, to paint wind onto glass. I will capture what is before me, in humble thankfulness, gratitude for another chance, to succeed, and not fail. God Bless the new day, in every way. Beginning with all, that I know... to be renewed, by all that I never knew.
