The Gift of Morning
Splendiferous, the birth of each new morn as sunshine glows above the mountain crest- while rays of light come forth as it is born, I stir from efficacious full night's rest. Empyrean, my thoughts of a fresh start! So glorious to have another chance; to meliorate my day- serve with my heart- attend, with kindness, every circumstance. Then lie at night once more for restful sleep- until for sun, those darkest hours resign, homologate more joys of life to reap; I pray- thank God for this new day that's mine.
