My daughter is in the kitchen , Making lunch on her own, My son is not to be seen, He must be out of town! My aged mother is not anywhere, She must have passed, I hope In life I was good to her, Forgive any hurt I caused. My wife and I were separated, For many years in a row, But affections are never belated, With time they even grow. Sisters, brothers and their family, Go about with their own lives, sometimes I hope they think of me, A brother who was in their lives. Friends in my life were many, Many who lent me a hand, Tears, I wish to wipe if any, If I was the cause of offend. Then I come back to the present, And see what I can change, I swiftly work to correct descent, And my own life rearrange. So get to work in your present , When still here in physical state, Live your life so you are pleasant, Because as memory it is too late!
