A Day With Mum
He held her finger to help cross the road, At age of thirty mum was getting old, They went across to buy her new glasses, She finds it hard to read in her classes. The shop was large like a sports stadium, They even had a large aquarium, They took mother in to sort out her eyes, While he played motor cars with other boys. Then he took her to favourite toy shop, bought a batman toy and a spinning top, Then they shopped for his new school starting soon, A bag, lunch box and a Mickey Mouse spoon. It was midday, time for something to eat, Pizza Hut he liked, would buy mum a treat, He ordered the food, drink and two Ice cream, Pizza and lollies was always mum’s dream. Late evening when his dear dad returned home, He said how he had been helping his mum, The eye test, lunch and toys were all retold, Such responsibilities on a five year old!!
