Golden Years
Saturday morning...5 cups down the hatch I'm feeling a little better...more pills what a batch Moaning and groaning...as I head out to the shop Got to get that new tube of ointment...hopefully my knees don't pop Another beautiful day...I'm grateful I get to see The sun is shining brightly...my bladder now full of pee All night long this now happens...then continues on into the day My family I'm sure has a room picked out...but for now I get to stay They say sex after 40...is like shooting pool with a rope This might make you youngsters laugh...but to us it's no joke A little white pill...given to me by the wife Always let's me know...I'm in for one hell of a night It's now time to take on these golden years...I'll face them all with glee It really doesn't matter...how many times I wake up to pee Life is still important...I'm thankful to be alive I will love and laugh whenever I can...I'll still be smiling when I die *comments welcomed and appreciated* I hope I made some smiles and laughs today
