Where Am I
Where am I? It’s a new year; In its first month; It’s a new day; Maybe a new season too. Where am I? Sitting on an old wooden bench; Rotted by age and weather, Indeed, I’ve survived all five seasons. This bench is neither safe nor comfortable anymore, to sit on; Past events consumed all its value; Eventually, its bits and pieces will fade away. Where am I? Is this moment the manifestation of past activities? or Is it a signal to the future I’m labouring towards? Why do I have to fight daily to hit the right keys without fearing the unknown? I need the true meaning of “Trust your instincts”! Where am I? I am not there yet; I am not there yet! And I know I want to move, Move too fast. I need to run, But I cannot. I need to fly, But have no wings. The question is what’s the destination called? Where am I? My instinct is whispering; Take a moment; Take a deep breathe; Hear the voice “Trust your instincts”; Where am I” Standing next to this old bench; In an open space; Came a voice asked, “What do you see now that you did not see then”? Where am I? Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear colleague, sister, brother, mentor, I want to tell you the truth about life; Is like a climate change The weather in our lives will always change; The seasons will bring the shift we need; So that we can create our future from our future for our future and not for our past! Dwell no more in your past, weep no more cause it has been changed, If it can be changed. I can change it; I can adapt; I can become a change too; So are you; You can do it. We can do it. Where am I? In the fourth industrial revolution
