Without love we’re like birds with broken wings, Unable to soar to where our heart sings, We’d never know the waterfalls of affection, We’d be travellers with no sense of direction. We need people to notice we are there, We need someone to show they really care, To give their love to light our inner glow, To have love is to know all there is to know. With love in our hearts We have our moments in the sun, It may come in fits and starts But from the time that it’s begun It radiates throughout our world Spreads and flies like a flag unfurled.
