Alarm Clock
The alarm clock plays different sounds, To shake you up from slumber, To get you up for daily rounds, For the home to office scamper! It begins slow like a church bell, A gentle smooth first attempt! Then a quicker rapid, faster knell, You choose to silence with contempt. By half past six, if still in bed, The alarm shrieks even louder!! Like some lady has been surprised, When unclothed in her shower! On certain days, no sound will do, For the body is too exhausted! Even after an explosion next to you, you would rather be resurrected! There is one alarm that works well, For the people in deep slumber, It sounds like a real telephone bell, When someone dials your number! half asleep you answer the set, sharp voice is the alarm you hear, “If not in office by half past eight” “don’t you ever bother coming here!”
