Snowflakes wafted in the silence of sparkle, alighting softly on the leaning leaves, and on the burdened boughs, all frozen mute, while the confined wind whistled the winter tune. Tiny sleighs glided on the buried pathways, misty snow dust trailed the fading furrows. Distant church bell I heard toll in the solitude, children sang Christmas carol around twinkling trees.
