He cursed again, men of little hearts he made a turn for the butcher's yard where a bone or two may fill his guts But bad luck haunted him, here as well the bones were gone, carted away to a nearby factory , making manure. He snarled and took to his four in hurry remembered he, his hidden reserve hidden under the dust in a near by farm While sniffing ground to find spot he hid a stone at the back scattered his dreams And saw the farmers son with a load. Licking his back he cursed cruel men in a rage wanted to rush to the cemetery He would find at least a piece of a skull. There all his hunger crashed on a scene there was a tear gushing from his eyes flowing thru the chin as silently howled. Weeping women ,kids all there in black burying their dead all game in this war he growled way back ,thought of sleep but hunger made him very tough to nap. Sprinted he to his lover for a silent sob But luck never favoured him this day, Afar what he saw splintered his heart. His love ornamental on master's leash the party is on for a war they just won the men in uniforms all lined to secure stray dogs not allowed, sentry was stern. He took to his heels for a timeless run Sadly howling for the day he was born He snarled for his birth in human world they kill, cry and celebrate all that well.
