A Spirit Drained
Battling changes in life. I slip into a distorted & confused frame of mind. Frustrated & despondent I absorb my shame, I then, pick my self up as, my spirit fights to give me strength . Fighting off fools, bad women & old age. I seek redemption for my soul, with no games being played, still Maintaining who I am, I won't give in to them. I have no expectations from any one, only relief in life for the things I have done. As my spirit soars above me against the wind I push away & try to ignore the pain felt with in. Walking along these streets, I struggle trying to believe that there's any honesty left, in this society. This is what I believe to be the closing stages of dying breed. With my spirit soaring above me, I refrain from taking action, I look the other way as if, to say good bye to you again, good night from a Spirit Drained.
