Empty
Empty (paper?) The page is glaring at me. White, huge, a slice of nothing… Waiting to be something. What if I can not? What if I simply can not? It is laughing at my lack of hope. It is mocking my emptiness of faith. I have no joy today. So I pray. “Lord, help me to do something, anything with the time you have generously given me. Guide me, that I might not waste even a minute, precious in “His” fullness of life. Help me to remain on track and move ever forward… the direction toward You.” My hands part. I look up. The world is brighter. How can I explain, that talking to him… does that…! How can I share that with… others? The page is less empty. It does not have enough color, so I will get my crayons. That task, all fun. (chores) I hope the rest of them… those He sets before me… are as easy to complete. Amen.
